Sugar and Sugary Foods
The world has been saturated with sugar and sugary foods. In many countries sugary products have become an addiction amongst the people, especially in the Western cultures. This addiction to sugar has caused a drastic change in people’s behaviour and in the energy that they are carrying.
Sugar has an uplifting effect in the beginning on the body but later will leave it feeling depleted. This depletion leads to negative thoughts and feelings which draw the person towards low energy. It is this constant low energy that brings them difficult experiences and they once again sweeten their life by eating sugary foods in order to compensate for it.
This cycle has affected many and is now doing the same to the youngsters. It has become very accepted that chocolate bars and high sugary drinks are to form part of the everyday diet. Yet none of these things are healthy for the body. It creates pockets of fat which is difficult to break down unless the energy is used up in physical exercise. Even this would need to be intense in order to get rid of the sheer surplus of energy that this type of food would have created.
There are many substitutes for sugar being used but often these are worse for mankind than sugar itself. They are made of synthetic products that carry side effects, often which are not shared with the public until such time as they need to know. Some of these are tested on animals first and will often have caused many deaths before coming onto the shelves for sale.
Sugar and sugary foods have become like drugs. They have become a substitute for emotional distress and therefore are used to keep a person propped up when otherwise they would be down. This is hiding the real problem and not giving the person a reason to consider how they can cure the problem a different way. When people who are often distressed over eat sugary foods and become overweight, they may consider the problem causing it. However, even then it is often the weight that is considered and the overeating and not the emotional reason behind it. This will only be worked upon once professionals become involved and they question the person about the way they are living.
Many companies are making high profits on the productions of sugary foods and drinks. They are not considering the damage they are doing to mankind as a result of what they are making. Their only concern is the profit. This is because the people creating them have no concept of what love is for themselves. If they did, they would understand more deeply what they are doing and would consider a better way to make profit that did not cause harm to others around them. This is another example of where it could benefit mankind if people were to get in touch with their truth and live from it.
The more people are in touch with their truth the less they are likely to be drawn in by sugary foods. Their desire for them will dwindle as they begin to crave foods that are better for them. As this demand increases it will spiral across the world and those producing food will have to reconsider their options as the demand for what they are creating plummets. This change would be a dramatic one and the foods that would begin to come into the shops would be of nutritional value to all.
Sugar is also the cause of many sleepless nights. Where a high load of sugar has been eaten it can cause a person’s body to be energised and therefore not wanting to sleep. This can be disruptive to both the person having the sugar and those around them. This reaction can also occur if a person is not used to having much sugar and suddenly increases their intake.
It is therefore clear that in order for people to stop craving sugar and sugary foods the main work to be done is to help people to sweeten their lives in other ways. This means to get in touch with what fulfils them and brings them joy and show them how to embrace this. Once people are working from their heart and learning to connect to all from a place of love, sugar is no longer needed.
Many youngsters rely on high sugary drinks to give them energy so that they can stay up for longer hours. This type of pattern of behaviour is increasing the stress levels in their bodies and over a long period of time will also cause them to age more rapidly. For many aging is something that they have least on their minds as they are only young, but aging also includes the organs inside their bodies. If these begin to fail them at an early age their lives would become very restricted and they in turn would become frustrated with life. To solve this would be to learn to reduce such sugary drinks and to replace them with water which is much better for the body and often is healing as it cleanses the organs and blood.
As adults, sugar is more likely to sit in the body as fat. This fat becomes harder to break down as the person becomes less active through age. Many people believe that with age they become less able and as a result they create this. They use sugary products to help them feel better about it. This weakens them further and causes a deeper sadness within as they plummet down after the highs.
