Today look out of your window and see what is there. Look closely at the beauty that lies around. See the stillness of each moment. For despite the wind blowing, the sun shining or the rain pouring, in between it all lays the stillness that exists at all times.
This stillness lies also within you. It is a place of calm and peace. A place of safety and love. Whilst you are busy doing, this part of you is forgotten and often a disconnection to it becomes the existence for your day.
The more disconnected you become from this sanctuary, the more you build your day based on things that are not important to your own wellbeing. You become distracted by the needs of others and those of entities that only exist because of what people do.
This lifestyle can lead to stress, dissatisfaction and sadness within. It can feel empty and busy at the same time.
To truly feel fulfilled and maintain a healthy lifestyle, it is important to remain connected to who you are. To learn to love the person that is you and to do things for yourself that bring joy to your heart. The more you learn to do this, the greater your life will become and the easier things will flow into it that you desire.
When was the last time you simply sat down and allowed yourself to be in a place of peace? To let go of thoughts and to connect only to the flow and sense of who you are? When was the last time you asked yourself if you are happy, and if not why not? When did you last honor your truth and set boundaries that make your life more of what you desire?
You are only here once in this lifetime. How you live your life during it is a choice you make. There is no desire from a greater creator for you to live a life that is mundane and stagnant.
